We’ve been waiting on baited breath to receive an all new Heizer DoubleTap for review so we could clean up some of the question marks and hopefully help the gun live up to its hype. Well today we got word that Heizer finally has all of their unique parts in order and extensive production runs HAVE begun and we’re hoping to see one shortly. UNTIL THEN, hold on to your britches with this video from Ray Kohout from Heizer actually SHOOTING the DoubleTap. FINALLY!!!!!!

You’ll have to tell me what you think, but watching Ray shoot the DoubleTap in both .45 and 9mm I’m thinking the recoil looks supremely manageable with sufficient accuracy!

At least the question of how to reload is answered! I thought from the SHOT show videos the shells would eject upon breaking it open. I wonder if the one he used was ported or not and titanium or aluminum.

    Thank you for the video!!!

Ebbs, et al, watch that shooting demo again. The first shots appear to be relatively smooth, but the 2nd shoots, appear to be ‘labored’ a bit, as though the trigger mechanism is binding-up on him a little bit.

    Anybody else see that?
