No issues with this Gen 3 Glock 26 pistol.

My good buddy Vic from 5 Rings Tactical has been sorting out some major frustrations these past few months with some of his new production Glock Generation 3 pistols. Amazingly enough he’s encountered quite a bit of hate and criticism for even suggesting that a Glock of any kind could have these types of failures at such a prolonged rate. I guess people have forgotten that a Glock is a machine just like anything else, and if it’s not operator error, well machines still fail at one point or another.

Anyway he’s finally posted his journey to try and figure out the extractor issues over on his site. I’d encourage you to check his post on Glock extractor issues. The good news is if this is a problem you’ve encountered he’s got the beginnings of some solutions to help make things right.

We’ve got a Glock 26 Gen 3 review coming up real soon and I’m happy to report NONE of these issues. That doesn’t mean Vic is wrong, it just means our Gen 3 pistols evidently came from a distributor who went the extra mile to replace the extractors prior to shipping any with the “dipped” model.
