…”ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED” – Col. Jeff Cooper

This video has been up for almost 6 1/2 years now, and I can’t tell how many email forwards I’ve seen it in. But my good buddy Timmons shared it with the Facebook page and I thought it was worth of sharing here as a reminder that when we get cocky, comfortable or lax with guns bad things can happen.

My favorite quote comes when he says “I am the only one professional enough in this room to handle a gun.”

Second favorite moment. When he calls the pistol a “Glock 40.” No such thing. There’s a 22, 23, 27 & 35 IN .40 S&W, but I hate to tell this turkey that Glock can only apparently count to the upper 30′s.

Before you start shooting, whether at a range or a classroom, get training. Hunter’s/Firearms Safety courses are a great place to start.

I love this video. “hand me the other ‘unloaded’ gun”! Bwahahaha! Thanks for the shout out Ebbs!

As soon as I heard him talk about rappers, I knew what was coming. Glock Glock! LOL

Police are not always gun experts. I used to watch “Cops”. I was constantly dismayed at the # of officers who could not safely unload the guns they found. Even if they’re not gun guys, and most aren’t, you would think that for their own safety they would learn about how to safely clear most common types of firearms.
